Chad Pye, local law firm owner, was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC.  He grew up with a passion for fitness, training at several local gyms.  He attended the College of Charleston and later graduated from law school in Alabama.  Like many, working out was always his escape from the stress that life can bring.  He returned to Spartanburg where he continues to practice law and raise his two sons.

He started the Firm Fitness Center as a result of the closing of Exzel Fitness in 2017.  He heard and listened to the people of Spartanburg's complaints about the local fitness community.  He also saw the need for a gym with a great atmosphere, space, and better equipment. This is why, when opening The Firm, Chad ensured that it would be a high-quality, yet affordable gym for the people of Spartanburg.

From the start, Chad has said "This is not his gym, it's Spartanburg's gym, and everyone is always welcome at The Firm."
